In the darkest corner of Hollow Creek, where the corn grows tall and the shadows grow longer, a nightmare awakens when the sun sets
In the autumn of 1847, a farmer named Ezekiel Thornwood was wrongfully accused of murder by the townspeople of Hollow Creek. Driven by fear and superstition, they dragged him to his own cornfield and hanged him from a wooden cross.
As his body swayed in the cold October wind, Ezekiel cursed the land with his dying breath. He vowed that anyone who dared enter his field after sunset would face a fate worse than death itself.
The townspeople left his body to rot, and over time, the crows picked at his flesh until only bones and tattered clothes remained. But something darker took hold. On moonless nights, witnesses claim to see a figure moving through the corn stalks—a scarecrow with glowing red eyes and an insatiable thirst for revenge.
"Those who wronged me shall know no peace. My field will be their grave, and their screams will be my harvest."
— Ezekiel Thornwood, October 31st, 1847
Ezekiel Thornwood is hanged in his own cornfield. The curse begins as his dying words echo through the night.
Three townspeople who participated in the hanging disappear without a trace. Their bodies are found days later in the cornfield, faces frozen in terror.
A group of teenagers dare each other to enter the field at midnight. Only one survives, driven mad by what he witnessed. He speaks only one word: "Scarecrow."
A documentary crew attempts to film the field. Their footage shows a figure moving impossibly fast through the corn. The crew is never seen again.
Modern paranormal investigators equipped with night vision cameras capture footage of glowing red eyes and a blood-curdling scream that shatters their equipment.
The field remains abandoned. Local authorities have sealed it off, but every October, people still go missing. The scarecrow waits in the darkness.

The corn whispers the names of the damned
"I heard my name being called from deep within the corn. The voice sounded like my mother, but when I turned around, I saw those eyes—burning red in the darkness. I ran, but I could feel it behind me, getting closer. I barely made it out alive. I still hear the corn rustling in my nightmares."
